You can't just take it to a DriveShaft shop, the yoke is also different.
Anywho, just get a manual one. They run about $75.
I might have one.

It doesn't matter if one or two piece, what I'm saying is the yoke on a Auto and Manual are different sizes, and teeth.

Most driveshaft shops have all makes and model parts in stock.

Well then he would just be having one made, instead of shortened. Ya get what I'm saying?
His original post asked to have it shortened by how much.

My manual S13 d/s is 47 3/4" long. I don't know if it's abs or not but I do believe that the abs is shorter than non-abs. But the 2 are different although I hear that all you need is the manual half of the d/s and you can use the abs/non-abs specific half from your auto and peice them together. I'm not 100% sure but I have read this on Nico.

You should search other forums or just get one made. The fact that you have abs is going to be a bitch to find. Not to many people have that on hand JDM or USDM.

just buy oem or go get a 1pc already fitted and balanced. they run ~400 new, which isnt bad... but if you have elsewhere to spend money...just get a used oem ds.i put my s13 1pc on the car today and i still had to take the ring on the back of the tranny out to get it to fit properly.if you want to lighten your rotating mass, every little counts, ya kno??
