hey
I had a question about spin turn knobs. After you install it does your e brake lever stay up or does it just lift and fall? I was worried because of my turbo timer. I dont leave my car in gear while parked because of my turbo timer. If my e brake was to fall down then that could be horrible. I heard it takes the clicks out of the e brake so you can lift it and not worry about mashing the button to put it back down. any help is appreciated.
holla
p.s. should this be under Tech Reviews? If so, feel free to move it.

I don't know what a "Spin Turn Knob" is, but the drift e-brake button we had in one of our cars was cool. What it does is take out the spring in the e-brake. So, you push the button in, and it stays in, meaning you can yank on the ebrake and it will just fall back down.
But if you pull the knob out then it works as a normal e-brake.

google it. but you're saying that you can use it as a regular e brake when its not pushed in, but when it is you can just lift it up and down? im just worried that my e brake will fall down and my car will roll into a pole or something.

nice pretty rock as a wheel chalk ftw. Flip sells painted ones, clear coat also available.
you dont need the knob thingy, you can practice an do events without it. put it on only for competition to minimize driver error.... or you can make one with a quick release cap lock.

Nah. We had ours for a long time, and it was fine. And yes, that is the concept.

Ok, so I read up on the Cusco one. You don't even have to remove the spring. So its the best of both worlds. Just install it, you will understand how it works and be less paranoid.

the spin turn knob is pretty much so i dont pull my e brake on the 1st turn and then realize on the 4th turn that its not all the way down. you know what i mean. that shit is soooooo annoying.

no i dont know what you mean. coz if you keep it up, your car will spin out by then. then at the next run, you will remember to put it back down instantly, while grabbing the ebrake with your thumb on the button. and it will become a habit. a good habit.
if its not all the way down, and you are still drifitn it, t shouldnt matter too much, coz you are going to yank it again anyways. just be aware of what you are doing the next run.. good luck.

Why in the hell would you try to do it without at least glancing at the instructions? They are there for a reason.
