Word, those things are cool for like 5 laps and then it's just annoying. Waking up to those open exhaust miatas at 9am the first year was not very fun either though.. especially with a mean hangover lingering from the night before.

Here is a Breif rundown of my cars ive had in order from when I was 16yr old. till now.

So here is the Civic. Everyone had one so STFU haters. My mom gave it to me when i was 15. I thought it was the ugliest shit. But I worked with it and grew to love it.

to those of you talking about the 'mg', those are datsun 2000 roadsters from the late 60's. Pre-Z era. First car I know of to wear the name fairlady badge. na SR swaps and KA swaps are common in these. I guess they're light enough to not need turbos, idk.

Explination, lol, the altezza's were one of the things that i bought the car with, along with no working headlights, no a/c, no cruise and an engine that i believe was previously boosted, (because of what was removed from the engine bay possibly for a turbo) i was lookin for some stock SI's but could never find anyone who would let a set go for cheap. Then i traded with a kid in warner robbins for my coupe.

That sounds about right.

Anyway, on your car or my car, yes, clear tail lights wouldn't look very good. But on a wide body, track only drift car that's slammed, has nice wheels, 400+hp, etc. clear tails are perfectly acceptable. Have you not noticed that most of the pro drift cars are all about being over the top? Stickers all over your car and vinyl graphics on your car would look ridiculous too, but that doesn't mean they look stupid on real drift cars.

Ya I know. It may be FWD, but it doesnt do to bad in the grip, auto x, mountain run, or track car area either. I ran a 15.2 on the 1/4 mile with track temps @ 135 degrees in commerse.

Just so you know, the only turbo Spec V there is around here that I know about is white, custom muffler, painted white stock wheels, and the hood is lifted alil bit toward the windshield. He is putting down about 250-275 normally...

I think he is...

I know there is someone on the B15 boards that is planning to do a VQ35DET setup on a sentra. I find it kinda dumb because of the amount of TQ steer that would create, and it would be totally useless unless you were on the highway.

the trick to making that sick SR20 cover is airbrush, layers, time, patients, and all the high temp paint to do it! i more or less threw yellow on mine so it wouldn't look shitty. needless to say, mine doesn't compare in bad assness

You know, my girlfriend almost bought a G20. However, the chassis was rotten out, after i shown to the mechanic that major chassis components are not suppose to bend and break due to rusting out. That one had to be taken off the market. Still, love the SR20DE. all aluminum goodness.
