So since I do not have any cool recent kills (my Honduh kill got flamed!), I decided to post some of my more memorable kills of the past.

When I was living in NY, I was less than a mile away from Lebanon Valley Dragway. It was really cool because people who lived close by got to go to all the events for free!

At the time, I had a 1997 Nissan truck (KA-powered!) 4-cylinder with a 20hp shot of nitrous, everything else was completely stock. I went up against an early 90's Chevrolet 454 SS truck. This engine (7.4 liter) was over three times the size of mine! lol I got a beautiful launch and we were pretty much dead even thru the whole quarter. At the very end, I barely edged him out (it was less than .01 seconds)! In defense of the SS truck, they only had 230hp in factory trim......with cams, headers and exhaust, they were way faster.

I had another great kill that night also. I was up against Buick Regal Turbo (Grand National, 13 second factory car). He was popping and banging and shooting a ton of smoke at the start. I jumped him, put he came past me like I was in reverse! lol At the 1/8 mile, I started catching him, he was popping like crazy and I saw huge black clouds of smoke. I was able to pass him and able to get a good lead. At the end he was catching up like mad, but I finished before he did!

They sound ok, they have a really restrictive exhuast from the factory. However, my buddy has upgraded exhuast and it sounds awesome! His is pretty quick too, he put a manual transmission in it! Way better than the factory slushbox.

The most hilarious scene of the night was when I went to do a burnout. I was spinning the tires for a good 30 seconds and all the smoke was staying under the wheel wells and under the truck. The track official motioned me to move up, I stuck out my hand saying wait a minute.....then all the smoke started to pour out! lol I think I did a burnout for at least two minutes.

There was so much smoke when I did my run, there was tire smoke all the way to the 1/8 mile! lol I can imagine people going WTF?!, did that little jap truck just do a John Force burnout?!
