Holy hell this is exactly why I came here. I asked a question, and instead of either helping me out or not, everybody thought they know what my car dynoed, how heavy it is, what gear ratios I'm running, what my quarter mile times are and everything.

I was hoping I could just get some help...

Not to be a smartass, but I thought I was pretty clear. I just was curious if anyone knows somebody with a z06 willing to run. I am not interested in what everyone thinks will happen if I do get the race.

Basically a coworker thinks a stock z would walk all over me, and I just wanted to see what would happen. I might get stomped, I might hold my own. I don't care to know what anyone thinks will happen, and that is why I didn't ask or give any info about my car... I just want to see for fun.

PS 1SLWPOS if you would like to run pm me. It would probably be a good run.

If that would have been your original post...that would have made it perfectly clear. Your original post was broad, general, and didn't state that you were NOT open to other vehicles that may have similar numbers.

Just saying, ask a broad question...and you will receive a broad range of answers. Be specific in what you want, don't get defensive, most of us are nice...if you get broad answers, restate question.

Some people are way too technical and just can't grasp generalization.

Unless you are making ~400 - 500 whp you prolly wont be able to beat a newish Z06. They are quick, they dont weight alot, and they dont stop til about 210ish...

That's a big margin when you factor in the speed. There is a big gap between 200mph and 210mph. When do you want to be shot and where? Do you prefer a certain caliber?
