go to autozone and borrow the wrench, It has a slit in it so the wire can go through.

There is an O2 sensor socket, but it will not work on the much larger EGR pipe

You got to get some PB blaster, soak it forever, and get either a pair of pliers and man up on that summa bitch or a really good wrench.

You will probably be stripping the nut out, good luck

Now, do you have an o2 sensor on the downpipe? mine's just on the header and the hole on the downpipe is bolted in. That is a different size than the o2 sensor.

Edit. when i loosened that lower bolt i had to use a breaker bar. It was that hard. and pb blaster of course

EGR is not on the downpipe andy. i just screwed a bolt into the egr pipe coming from intake side.

You getting a header also?

omg. ok my header has a 02 sensor and a egr. the egr was deleted and blocked off.

theres another hole in the downpipe with a pipe goin to the box across from the header. i want to know if i can eliminate that.

and nixzsx he coulve paid someone to pass it for him.

btw i passed with out the egr in the header soo im guess thats not needed.

heat it up to where the nut is bright red.
get compressed air can, turn it upside down and spray at that.

i think it could break it free...
just in theory.

no thanks. i really dont need to dake that pipe off. i got off at the top part. its just the 02 sensor blocking the header from dropping down to the floor. the steering rack is in the way. gosh no room!!

i had to unbolt the header from the secondary pipe (or downpipe) in order to take it outa the car.

lol im takin to all attached to the cat. the bolts are siezed on the dp. but i havnt tried takin those bolts off yet. ill give that a try

Yes, you can delet the shit that goes to the DP, I don't have mine on my hatch.
Will it pass emissions? I don't know. Hall Co doesn't have emissions.
