i can't really blame the new owner for his decision. it's not like 240atlanta people were using the track all that often, and there are other uses for the track that can bring in revenue without causing as much wear and tear on the track.

i'm sure one day drifting will be popular enough around here for a track dedicated to drifting to be built. ..one day. one day when i don't give a sh*t about drifting anymore.. haha

im sorry if i dont conform to the drifting "omfg wrecks add character" that most people do.

im the second owner of my car, its got 210,000 miles, never been wrecked. 2 paint blemishes on the whole car. 1 dent in the passanger fender thats hardly noticable.
if i wreck my car, so be it. but id prefer to keep the factory paint.
i probably get the most "wow your car is clean" compliments out of everyone on the boards here.

Wrecking is not a purposeful thing in drifting lol, its usually from screwing up and not doing things correctly. If you drive within your limit you will not mess anything up at black hills but maybe a tire drop or so, big deal, you are stock body with no aero, you are fine.


your miles should be reset since you swapped the head biotch, that the body is easy to maintain, you have the best color for the sun and its a mid 90s car that was actually maintained before you bought it, although rare, us s13s dont usually have the priveledge, consider our cars look badass, and yours looks like a 4x4 camry :P

I only did one event there but it was fun, its not that tight until you get to the S section right before the oval. If the rest of the course is too tight for you, go practice.

Sux it is closing though, one less venue that is dori friendly.

thats why they crashed....... their idiots. they try to go to fast on a track that they can barily do. but i enjoyed the track and im gonna miss it. i enjoyed it.
it wasnt the biggest but it was somewhere to go for semi cheep and you got a shitload of runs because no1 liked it.

The back section that dipped down near the woods and the back S section were too narrow for me to feel comfortable doing anything on, but the rest of the course was gravy. You could hit the oval and manji the front straight to the next corner pretty safely.

wanted to go on it, really did, i figured that the technical stuff would be great to learn on. my last car was a pos, so i wouldnt have cared if i had wrecked, but the car im getting soon, im going to learn in a parking lot at events before i take it out to smaller, more technical events. and as for waiting on someone to build a track for drifting, im wanting to with some of the land that my family owns. it would be a good track with some downhill/uphill/straightways. and a very long sweeping turn. and a few banked turns. but first i gotta get money and a few other things have to happen. but when i do, if i do, ill get some events going so i can get some money back and hopefully make money.

but, sucks its closed to drifting, but im happy for david. means he gets to relax
