some one said i need to get a crank collar on my RB20 cause they destroy them selfs can somone tell me more about them and were i can get one Thanks:thinking: :thinking: :confused:

thats only on the r32 rb26's.

from what i've heard, people have had problems with all series of rb motors oil pumps and they crack if used above 6500 rpm without a crank collar. i think it's just recommended to avoid having to replace anything down the road that breaks prematurely

yeah thats what i was reading about them too
it looks like the rb's all have aftermarket oil pumps you can buy.
just gotta find out where.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is only on the r32 rb26.
But I could be wrong.

its only on the r32 rb26. the snout on the crank was a little short so it doesnt engage the oil pump gear all the way, at high rpms it can break

well all rb's 20 and 25 and rb26 r32 have this problem. if you are planing not to go more then 8500 + rpm and more then 450whp don't worry about it. I'm running 400 whp and i don't have any problem and I'm reeving to 8300rpm's
