Has anyone on here done it?

would you recommend it, difficulty?

As far as I know, it only takes a adapter fabbed bracket and obviously custom lines + wheels to fit em.

only if its cheaper and less time consuming than going another route.

makes sense?

yes and its only cheaper than a big brake conversion. so i guess i shouldn't do it lol

Really good point...+ if it's not an overkill for what your plans are...

same type of brakes, yes. different line fittings i think.

alright thanks, i don't think i really need a big brake set-up. i just thought before i did anything engine wise, i should upgrade to a better brake system

What's your current setup?

Q45 FTW :D

stock, i'm getting the 5lug swap parts. i was originally going to go with the z32's, but then i changed my mind and just utilize the s14 se setup, idk though lol...

if you're not going to extensively track the car...
the most i'd go with would be z32 all 4 and upgraded mc.

evo brakes are just overkill imo.

its neva overkill for brakes. lol

brakes and cooling management are never classified as overkill imo

Neejay

I disagree.

Are we including cooling the engine down too much as to hinder optimal temps?

Brakes are eh...I mean, if he could get the brakes for the same cost or a little more than q45 or z32, then yeah, he might as well (assuming they were direct bolt-on, or he could fab an adapter bracket). But I don't see the need to spend $1k (or whatevers super expensive) on brakes when you're driving a KA without any plans of upgrading to a shitload of power (for example).

It all depends on plans for what the car is/will be used for.

i doubt i will be using it as a track car anytime soon. i just saw a full set up for $950 on zilvia and i thought maybe instead of the z32's i would do this...

tracking...im talking about tracking, a stock 240 is fine for daily driving condition, im not gonna waste money to upgrade my car, just to drive it to the grocery store...

i was simply referring to Neejay's post above mine, he mentioned making "..a shitload of power" and i was just saying i didn't plan on it

Stick it to him hard when he's not looking!

..or pm scottman on here or zilvia. He did the evo brake conversion. He hardly ever posts on here but I'm sure he'll respond to any pm's.
