Ok here's my question ..... I'm thinking to get Coilovers soon ...
First is anyone on here running FootWerks Coilovers on their S14 or S13 .....if u are ... how do u like it so far and is this pretty decent Coilovers setup for the money ? ... comparing with brands like K-sports, Megan Racing, Tein etc.
Because this is my first time getting Coilovers for my S14 and i just
don't wont to go too cheap and regret getting some Coilovers that are gonna ride like shit and not last lol.
I'm mostly looking for Coilovers for Street use and lil bit Drifting lol cause it's my DD ...
Please give Your Best Response and advice because I'm noob and first time buyer for Coilovers .. he he
What's the best setup for on S14's that is affordable .. lol
Thanks in advance to all my fellow 240atl members ......

If you can afford better get better. If you cant save.
*edit I saw these things are $900 for a 14. Go with megans at least.

save and get something good, yes I would put megans above footwerks.

Would you say that for their arms and rods?

The arms that I have seen didnt impress me. Issues with adjustability.

I would honestly advise against getting used suspension, Ive gotten burnt twice with buying used stuff. Its worth it to save and buy new.

how often do you track your car on the footwerks?

have yet to yet, but hes not looking to track his car. hes looking to dd it.. and grant used these in some racing circuit in japan and he liked them. i think he won one race too. but i drive it hard everyday, and they are really confortable and stiff.

If its just to DD then he should definitely go with the cheaper megans.

Right now this is gone be for DD and may be some drift event use cause this is the only car i have right now but i would like to get coilovers that are stiff and ride comfortable too for street also...i'm tired of these megan racing springs lol

If it's not going to track it, why should he spend the extra money when the only real difference is going to be.... On The Track?
I've not heard anything bad about FootWerk, but I'm sure they won't be a magic carpet ride compared to any similar priced ones (at least for street use).

Ask for opinions on this site you will end up with an 8 page landslide........
I have never used footwerks but I think Babowc did and liked them.
I have megan streets on my Daily and they have kept it real on the street and kept it sick on the track...

Based on my research, I plan using the Megan Streets as well.

I've been kinda going back and forth between coilovers and a nice spring/strut setup.
I thought about the HP Tokico spring/combo setup (found for $525 shipped, but here's an example: http://projectnissan.com/shopping/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=217&idproduct=1661 ) or Megan Streets. I think I'll go with the Megans because I plan on track eventually + ease of installation.
I like the stock height now, at least with my current wheels.

you are alone on that one lol

for 200 bucks more youd be stupid not to go with coilovers.

lol Yeah, I know, it sounds weird. I hate the slammed look too, though.

Dude, I said I thought about it. lol
That was a long time ago, back when people were still questioning Megans. My recent choices were between the kyb/agx and megan streets. I mis-worded it in my last post.
