HELP: Linkage or clutch problem?

I was pulling out of my driveway this morning and I couldn't get my car to go into 1st. I tried all the other gears and the only one I could hit was reverse, so I backed up the driveway...as I did this a grinding and knocking sound came out of the back end before the car finally stalled. Now I can't get the car in any gear except reverse and that grinds like hell. Any ideas on what my problem could be? Thanks in advance :(

Check slave cyl, then master cyl, fluid level, then see if you still have the "speed bleeder" on your car (if so remove it) then if none of those maybe problem with clutch or pressure plate (but highly unlikely).
