Well I'm bored today so I decided to go to the local chop around here and take advantage of their free brake testing. Well he comes into the waiting room and tells me that when I painted my calipers i got paint on the rotors and in turn got onto the pads and crystallized? Well I said fuck that I don't care about crystallized pads I just want to get SS lines to get rid of the sponginess. So I live in Woodstock and was wondering if anyone in the area would mind helping me out. I also may be changing out the suspension too. Will obviously need to wait for the lines and suspension to come in so probably next weekend. Do you guys think i might need to rebuild the caliper too because I know for a fact I got paint on the clips too?
Brake cleaner on all the clips.
If the caliper isnt sticking, or leaking, dont bother with it.
And if you got paint on the rotors, it should burn off after driving for a bit, might as well have them turned when you put pads on anyways.
And pads are cheap...

but after all ive heard about them im not 100% sure they will work, although they are made by russel and have a 1 year warranty, but if one doesnt work i need someone to control the bleeder for me.

Go to Advance.
Get the "one man bleeder". Problem solved if you dont want speedbleeders.
Or, rent a vacuum hand pump. And do it that way.
