Looks like i may be getting a shop sooner than i thought

So i've already been told by my family that im getting 1 million agter i graduate to open a shop... there's a land auction in athens this weekend that includes some buildings prime for shops... and im talking cheap. so if i can go this weekend and snag something then atleast i'll have the most important part. the building :bump:

now i just need to price the other shit

and im too tired to price the rest

well not at the moment, if i find a cheap building i'll snag it and maybe re-sell it. all i know is lots of college kids with imports, has potential. but then again college students are kinda poor, lol.

it all depends on land and building availability. i can get a 50x100 steel building for about 20k its just finding decent land. theres actually a plot of land for sale smack dab in the middle of downtown cumming, not sure how much it is but i know the rednecks would love hearing imports on the dyno all the time, rofl

well when your grandfathers estate is huge (oil and mineral rights in ak and tx) you get things. its 4 years away minimum from being like an offical shop but i may be getting the building sooner than i thought. so looks like we have storage for cars and parts and shit (hopefully)

take the square root of that number and you get aproxamately 208.7 feet

as you can see... each square represents 1 acre. and aproxamately 200 feet wide.

200x 10 = 2000
not even a half mile
so good luck getting up to 100 mph and having any fun.

in reality, if you wanted a track on 4 acres. you would only have a MAXIMUM of 416 feet of track... not including zoning laws and build limits.

100 acres is a fair amount of land.
still not enough in my oppinion for a good track.
and i would get a rectangle shaped lot for a track.
so 100 acres ... approxamately 5 x 20 acre widths.
so you could have a 20 x 200 length
4000 feet
enough for a drag strip along the side and a good autocross track with moderate speeds.

I always wanted to go buy 400~500 acres of Desert in the southwest where it's cheap land cuz it's desert and build a rally track. Mainly bc you don't have to spend an insane amount of cash to get it all paved.
