You should be able to take it to any store and get that done.

This old black guy in Athens that sells used tires.. Or you can go to one of the tire places on Atlanta Hwy in Gainesville. The "little mexico" area. Be polite, try to speak some spanish, and they will like you.

Oh, and I used to play in the hispanic men's soccer league in gainesville, so I have some connections. :D

the place in athens includes discarding your old tires for the 10 dollars..
and if you start conversation with them, they sometimes forget to charge you

You don't HAVE to speak spanish.. They usually have a kid running around that can translate.

I am going to have to find this place...

I hate paying $60 to get tires mounted after I just paid $400 for them...

lol.
fuck that.. i went to tires plus once to mount my six tires and they wanted fuckin $180 for MOUNTING.

lol.. I scoffed and just left.

Then I went to walmart and mounted two.. came back to mount two more.. then they ripped the tire.
lol.
I got refunded a good amount of change so I went to another tire shop with a "low-profile" tire mounting machine and knocked out 6 for $60 out the door.

I'll probably go back there again and haggle with them... they werent able to air up a pair of the RPF1s I took there.

It was off of bufordhwy and buford dr..
i forget the name of the shop, but it was right next to waffle house maybe 100ft from the intersection.

I de-mount/mount tires in my garage...

All ya really need is a cheap bead breaker, three tire irons and you're good to go...

shop around the small shops for real. they'll cut a better deal sometimes. take out a phone book and start calling around saying you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

less sidewall = harder. i've seen it done with big tires on the trail when off-roading, but not on a low profile tire.

You MUST post a DIY thread with the directions. I'll be the first to try it out. ;)
