View Full Version : Bugs... Bear with me...
Alrighty, I upgraded the forum software earlier. The first upgrade went great. The second....not so well. I've reverted back to the first upgrade but there were some database changes that I don't think were rolled back.
You my have not been able to post anything for the last half hour or so and getting the "post not long enough" error as was I. Some random people had no problem posting however.
I'll get back on this tonight and see whats up. Please let me know in this thread if you see any problems on the forum...
Thanks for your patience...

Didnt notice any issues at all, must be one of the lucky ones.
Awesome... I've got some issues that only I can see I just wanted to make sure theyre not going any further than that. I suspect we'll run into some sort or problems. Anyone else?

Well come to find it's impossible to downgrade and I have to revert to an old DB backup which will nuke any posts in the last hour or so. So be ready. :)

Well I ended up not doing that and I'm manually fixing things as I find problems. Found out that people can't register right now so I'll fix that when I get home in a few hours...
Ok, back to work on this. Things will likely get iffy for a bit so don't worry too much :).

well, you ccant get on right now if you log out, If you do log out go to histiory and choose a post that was recent and you can get back on. That saved my e-life.
lol, yea I noticed there was a fatal error when you go to the homepage.
boner.
And yeah I disabled a bunch of plugins to try to track down the issue.
I've managed to successfully upgrade back to the new version and it looks like we can post again which broke for a moment but I got that working.
Let me know of any errors you see please... I fixed the home page.
If you have problems try clearing your cache and possibly cookies before reporting it please...

I thought it was just my computer!
Its not just your computer guys, I've been doing some heavy modification...
I fixed a few more things now. The main page allows you to vote and shows birthdays correctly now.
I have a surprise coming soon! :)

the 'new posts' link on the main page needs to be linked to
http://240atlanta.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew
instead of
http://www.240atlanta.com/search.php?do=getnew
