Hey guys, Im new here. I recently got into wreck and totalled my 240. However, i kept the car and since the accident wasnt my fault, i used the insurance money to do a s15 front end conversion. I got a full body kit and was able to put on the rear bumper. I was wondering if any one knew a good body shop to install my side skirts. By good i mean a shop who can do the job decently at a decent price because i do go to school at UGA and dont have too much money to spend on the car. Thanks a lot fellas.

I would but due to the conversion in the front end, the side skirts need to be modified. They dont fit properly and i verified that the side skirts were correct for the car. What should i do? please advice. Thanks

Is the car on the right the wide body project you guys were doing? Your moving agian?? You should live in Alpharetta very nice places.

LoL.. Talk about thread jack.

But yeah, this move was only temporary, we just had to get out of the apartments.

The car in my sig is the widebody project, which is about to be finished. Aggressive kit was ordered last week, and shipped today, so it should be here soon. Then I can fit the rear panels. Then all I have to do is put in the SR, swap over Carina's Coilovers, and its done.

The Kouki in the far right of that picture is another one we have.. Work will start on that after this one is finished. :)

We can't move to Alpharetta. We need somewhere that has no emissions.

funny, your decisions on where to live is based of emission counties?....lol
i like the color on the car.

hellfire
04-25-2007, 03:24 PM
Haha.. Not really made, but influenced. I like the area I was in previously anyways, which is Hall and has no emissions. I see no reason to change.

Plus.. I would like to legally drive the cars I build..

lol....i nkow you were just playing...so sr swapped cars are legal huh? can i be your roomate?

hellfire
04-25-2007, 04:29 PM
Why would they not be legal? If all you have to do it is register the car, without an emissions test you have nothing to worry about. Just like taking the cat off your car...

Sure, hook me up with some JIC Coils and we can talk about roomatage. ;) LoL..

no problem...then i think carina would need a new roomate...jk

um, yeah, i have the street legal law manual with me here, and i am reading it, about motorswaps.....yeah. not legal. must be classified under hot rods and must be reported to the DMV, under certain regulations that follows....bla bla bla

you know what i am trying to get, no big deal, just messing around. i totally understand just getting by with hush hush......

how bad of a drive to the city from your place, btw?

hellfire

I guess not LEGAL but.. You don't get punished for it. Our laws aren't like Cali's. Well maybe they are, but just not enforced like theirs.

I gotcha though. :)

Eh its not too bad, 30-40 mins to ATL.

Henry County:

Stockbridge area is nice. It's about 10 minutes drive to Atlanta going north. 2nd fastest growing county in US. (usually varies from 2nd and 3rd) Traffic is decent. It's pretty nice. Or for the more quiet area, try Ellenwood.

Tyler - So you can do S-15 Conversion on S-14? I have been thinking about it for a while. I am looking for a stock S-15 front bumper. I have only seen on pics of the stock models from Japan. All the bumpers I have seen on the S-15 conversions are way too show/gaudy for my taste. Anyway, let me know if this is something you are experienced with. Including rewiring for the correct headlights.

Yep, I have done 4 now. I also have for sale a S15 Light/Bumper support if you need it. I don't have any use for it. You might like some Origin or VS kits. Like the Stylish for example. Very low key, but still looks good and flows with the car.

And wiring is no problem for us. :)
