I am on the verge of buying my first 240 and I want to line up some initial modifications before I get the car. I want to try and run a 17x9 and 17x10 setup and I want to buy them as a package to save a little dinero. Thanks in advance

might want to save money incase something breaks on the car within the first 100 miles which is very common......or the entire engine goes.....you got to remember how old these cars are......also if your looking to save a little bit of money by buying a combo package that probably means you dont have a lot of money saved up......wheels in the size you want will probably run you a decent amount considering wheels that wide arnt the run of the mill....

but anyways we need more info on what the wheel will be used for (drifting, show, drag, autox) because that will have alot to do with what most of us will recommend......

17x9/10 sounds like the typical FN01RC setup.
It'll run you ~$1200 with tires and all that jazz.

Buy used and it'll probably cost alot less.

I definitely have the maintenance in mind. I expect to have a few minor problems with any car I buy that is this old. I am just trying to get figuers, that's all.

I am using it as a DD, and I drive about 50 miles a week...so I don't know if that helps. If I end up drifting, will buy a seperate car...I don't really like mixing the DD with drifting, something usually facks up :ohnoes:

I would say that eh FN01RC would be your best bet.

They are pretty cheap and have the sizes you want.

Just search for a good used set with tires. They pop up all the time.

If you're looking to buy used, the chances are, they're not going to be local.
Especially in decent sizing.

You'll more than likely want to have the wheels shipped without tires to save on shipping if you were to find something in another state.
Tires are consumables.. so you can't really factor the price of tires into the price of wheels.

Get a good deal on wheels and pick and choose what tire you want.
