Cost: $50 (from ebay )
install time about 10mins depending on how you work. Comes with all hardware needed. shifts feel nice. short and firm. will post pictures soon.:wave:

i mean.. does it even really matter to get a name brand short shifter? simple mechanics right? i guess as long as the materials good and it doesnt snap in half while your driving....:thinking:

I've gotten mixed reviews about short shifters.

I've heard of some people loving them, and some people actually went back to stock. :confused:

I believe you installed that shifter wrong.
first gear shouldn't be that far up.

Good point...and shouldn't the shifter be facing towards the rear of the car in neutral (slightly)?

Um... yeah it matters. I've seen lots of my friends short shifters off ebay and what not. I tried it out and its better then stock one no doubt but I have one from the setup I bought and the thing is sick... I hardly move it. I say its a big difference.

the shifter is installed backwards, i wanna see how close it is to front of the console. I don't like going into second and the shifter is in my lap.

There's a big difference.
Stock throw is a lot longer compared to aftermarket short throw shifters.
Short throw shifters have shorter throw, obviously, and feels less mushy.

I'm done... Just messing with him. I was there when he was installing the shifter.
