starter issue

A few months back I had some issues with my car starting, which was intermitent, it would start sometimes and run fine and then other times it wouldn't start at all. When trying to diagnose the problem I would have t repeatedly try and start the car and this put some stress on the starter.

Well the problem was fixed but now when I start my car it starts fine without hesitation but my started makes a wierd grinding (best way I can describe it) like noise. Has anyone experienced this? Could the gears just need a good greas job?

Any help is appreciated and I hope this is the right place to post this thread.

it doesnt sit square on the housing.. you can loosen the bolts two 14 mm and wiggle it around lose. fire the car up until it catches and then tighten back up. you should be able to reach from the top.

you can also take it apart and re grease it and clean in up.
