i didn't take these as i was driving this past weekend, but a good friend of mine did and just thought i'd post them up as there are some really good shots. figured i'd post a few of the nicer 240's (and my crappy one) in case anyone wanted to check them out.
it was an extremely tight and small track which proved to be really dangerous and ended up destroying one of my friend/teaamates car which was really sad to see, but hopefully the event organizers will learn from this and implement a few more safety standards at the next round.

dan from batlground who suffered a big wreck saturday but fixed his car and went on to place 2nd overall (congrats!)

another good friend and atlanta local, erin with the LS1 S13 (who beat nick hogan in tandem competition and won 5th overall)

not a 240, but my other teeammate/friend marty in his supercharged miata

and sadly, dennis's S14 after the wreck. got a cone stuck under the front tire while practicing (i was running tandem with him at the time which was horrifying to see), and this locked up his steering and sent him into a k-rail at full speed. moved one k-rail and hit the 2nd head on, destroying the car. there's a 15-pic sequence shot of the full wreck here (http://www.driftmechaniks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4231&start=60) that is incredibly frightening but does a good job showing the entire process. we'll be selling shirts or something soon to try and raise money to help get dennis sliding again soon, so if anyone's down to help support a really awesome guy that had some insanely bad luck, i'll post up more info later.
