finaly got the 240 2 idle since the swap. but when i push the clutch pedal to the floor it doesnt come back up it stays down. might i have to bleed the clutch or what?

Yea, bleed it and see if that helps.

If not probably a bad slave or master cylinder.

Yup try bleeding the clutch first.

Either bleed it or adjust the clutch pedal or both.

it was fine before i did the swap but theres no pressure when i push it

Im assuming you left the slave cylinder line attached and reused it on the new motor? If that is the case it shouldnt have let any air in, but it might be worth it to bleed it and check. If you replaced the slave cylinder then yeah, pretty straight forward.

You sure the slave cylinder is engaging the clutch fork correctly and thats pushing the TO bearing against the pressure plate and all that? If you reused the slave then there shouldnt be a need to bleed it, but get under there and make sure the slave is moving when you press the clutch and that its hitting the clutch fork. if its not moving then bleed away.

Im betting on the clutch fork slipping off the pivot. That would suck though, so lets hope not.

Make sure the actuator rod is pushing on the clutch fork correctly.

Alot of people have been booted from IA for alot of different things. Including myself, although I never got banned for more than 3 days...

i hate it when clutches go bad...but its good that you fixed it!
