its either the reverse light sensor or the 5th gear sensor.

Shoot...it's missing out of both mine and Bruce's trans, so if there's nothing there it will leak oil...

I have a pic on my phone if anyone can get pic msg's?

That's what I'm thinking, but it's a big hole and it would have to be a short bolt/plug...don't know the thread size either...

Farthest switch forwrad is the REVERSE switch

Looks like youre pointing to the second sensor to the front, not the first one.

Nope

that is the first sensor, the next one is in the middle of the tranny, and the 3rd is on top back by the shifter plate. None of them are close enough to get confused with.

There are 4, I think the shiny spot a few inches forward of the one shes pointing to is the reverse sensor...
