Aight peeps here's the deal. My girlfriend bought me a Smith and Wesson 40 cal pistol, model number SW40VE for my birthday/valentine's day present. It was the last day of January when she bought it for me, and she gave it to me a couple weeks after valentines day. Anyway, she bought the gun brand new for $350.00 and it included 2 magazines, a gun lock, a hard-shell carrying case, and of course the booklet and other info on the gun. Since owning the gun, I have carried it only a handful of times and I've shot around 1000 shots through it (I go to the range about once a week with 100 rounds). I've got the gun at Bullseye Gun Club and Smith currently getting brand new Meprolite night sights ($89 new) put on as we speak. Anyway, the gun is in perfect condition, and was cleaned throughly after everytime it was fired. It is a .40 cal and each magazine holds 14 rounds, with one in the chamber. That means you have 15 chances to hit your mark. This pistol was just rated as a consumer best buy for 2008! It is very similar to a Glock, the only difference is the trigger mechanism and the firing pins are different shapes. It is a great gun. I currently own a 40 cal SIG and I really have no need for a second 40 cal and I really want a Springfield XD compact 9mm to carry with me. That is the only reason I am selling this pistol. It works perfectly. No scratches, dings, dent, or marks at all. It is the closest to new you can buy. I am asking what was orginally paid for. $350 But keep in mind, I am paying to have the new sights put on, which after paying the smith to put them on is an additional $130 ($90 for the sights, $40 for install)! I will only sell this gun to someone above the age of 21, that is not a felon, and that can legally possess a firearm. Dont ask or waste my time if you are not allowed to own a firearm.
