Now I've looked around a little bit on this, but I can't find anyone who is using this setup.
I have front and rear Z brakes on my hatch, stainless lines, with the BMC.
Stops great, I love it.
I still have yet to hook up my ebrake.
Anyways, I was up under it yesterday and noticed that one of my rear calipers was leaking a bit. Nothing major, but, a leak none the less.
I've ran them with a stock BMC, and hated it completely, to me the pedal feel sucked, locked too easily, but, I never tried Z brakes in the front with stock in the rear with stainless lines and the Z BMC. I'm just curious if it would ruin the whole braking feel of the car, or if it would feel about the same.
Does anyone know how the pedal feel/brake bias would be with that setup.
As much as I want to run z brakes all around, I really don't feel like rebuilding a caliper, and was curious as to how the stopping would be with a Z master but stock rears. This would also simplify my ebrake as well. I would just go swap everything, but I don't have any stock rear calipers anymore, nor do I want to buy more stainless lines since the fittings are different.
May be a dumb question, I'm just curious if anyone has tried this setup.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Wes
