Pillow ball mounts at the top of you strut. Where it bolts into your strut tower. What do you have on your vehicle anyway?

I do know i need an alinment. But I put new tires on the front of my car about 3 months ago and I looked yesterday and seen that I have wires showing on the very inside of my tires.
