So you remove the 4 screws from under the dash lip and the piece next to the steering wheel, then does the whole thing in front of the cluster come out? So you can get to the screws actually holding it in

you prob got to drop the steering wheel column too, its 2 12mm bolts under the dash, and remove the two plastic pieces around the steering column, then remove the bezel with the Phillips head screws, and then remove the cluster by its Phillips head screws and then unplug.
Its been awhile since i pulled an S13 cluster, but im pretty sire thats all.

you done HAVE to drop the column...
its easier to get the plastic out if you do..
but you can get it out without dropping it

Do I have to take the bezel off in a s13? I have all the screws out but I can't get the bezel or steering column covering off. The leaver you push to move the steering wheel up and down is in the way of the bezel

yeah that thing is a biatch. I cant remember offhand but I do believe you need to take it off, I dont think the plastic surround will come off if that is still attached. if you drop the column it might, though.

Do I have to unplug all of the bezel wires?
you should take pictures so others will have a guide :)

Is anyone really good with swapping clusters? Because I have gotten as far as I can and it looks impossible.

Here it is, everything is un done besides for the wires connected to the cluster, there looks like no way to get the bezel off without braking it, and no way to get the cluster off with out taking out the bezel

Ok. You need to drop the steering column and it will make it a whole lot easier.
Remove the panel that is below the steering column first.
Then you should be able to see 2 12mm bolts that hold the steering column up. Take those out and you will have way more room.

look under the steering wheel column and drop the steering wheel by removing the 2 12mm bolts that were previously mentioned. the steering wheel will drop and it should all come out.
