Wrong keep it and replace everything dajuiceman said and you will have a really good motor. Plus do simple mods and you can have a lot of power and not have a pansy sounding motor.

Top hat motor-mounts are just as good and they sell a DP that allows you to use a SR exhaust

He is going to use the stock r32 x member so he wont need mounts.

RB20 is a good motor, but just a little old with too little after market support.
But I would rock one if I got one really cheap.

If you need any custom work done... IC piping... exhaust and what not I have a buddy who does great work. If you want his site or number or any info shoot me a PM. He does great IC piping. I think his site link is in my sig somewhere. Ask for Kyle!

Why use the x-member. It makes the motor sit so high.

JDM Steve

Its not my car, he doesnt want the mount even tho I have a new set in box. All you have to do is section the hood bracing and it will be fine.

YoshiMan

You have got to get that emo dude avatar gone!
Like I said, I'd rock an RB20 if I got one at a good price, but I'm a cheap bastard, and a good price to me is about three fiddy.

Nice. Have fun with it. A guy I went to college with swapped an RB20 into his 240. It was a fun little car, but not any faster than my SR (his was mostly stock too). It did sound meaner at higher RPM's.

Found out I need to do a front FMIC instead of using the side mount:(. What radiator do you use for a replacement? I can't get the damn driveshaft off the diff! Hey juiceman who did your work and I live in kennesaw too you should come by my apartment so I can check out your ride.

I did my swap myself. Z U L8ER helped me a lot in getting it running right. If u dont plan on going with a bigger turbo any time soon the side mount intercooler will be fine for now. My car put down 224 hp stock side mount n stock boost. But if u go with a bigger turbo the side mount wont flow enough. But yeah where in kennesaw do u live. I'm off of bellsferry road
