Open practice on the infield begins at 8:30, qualifying/NOPI licensing begins at 3, top 8 tandem Competition begins at about 4, open bank drifting on the oval begins at 6 pm and continues until 8 pm

EVENT DETAILS:
This event will go one rain or shine. This event will be a NOPI Drift licensing event. All drivers are however welcome and the event will cater to both beginner and advanced driversPractice will be from 8:30am - 3pm. Qualifying begins at 3pm. Qualifyig will be run in the same manner as practice so this is plenty of seat time for everyone even if you don't expect to qualify for the competition. If during qualifying you receive a score of 12 points or above, you will have earned a NOPI Drift license. We will have a top 8 tandem competition for the money after that. You car must pass the Drift Fury tandem tech requirements in order to compete for the money. If you make top 8 and your car does not qualify to tandem, we will take the next driver in qualifying points whose car passes our tandem tech requirements. We Will have open bank practice from 6 pm until 8 pm

Im on the fence there is an event there this month and a drift411 event there at the end of may. Im sure I will only make it down to one of them and with school it seems like may will be better. That and I think the may event will afford a little more seat time.

DG is having an atl event some time. they were supposed to have one in april but it is still TBA on there site. I have to get in touch with them and see what that is about. I love DG trials events.

well i finished in the top 8 but since i have no cage or fire suit i couldnt compete in tandem:( . lots of fun tho, i just have some issues with how they judged but Im still happy with how i drove. i dont know i if met anyone from here, but it was nice to meet you if i did:goodjob:

if that black s13 w/ the kouki wing had a sticker right above his muffler and some other stickers on the rear window /w drift 411 n sr20 running /w Se rims....thats probably not enormungus its my friend. I guess he did good eh. just a hunch, probably not

Thanks. That was the most frustrating day ive ever had driving wise. I just couldnt stay in my damn seat. Long corners are fine in my car but when it comes to swinging back and forth like that I slide straight off it (damn leather) I have the bruises on my legs to prove it hahaha. I vow it will be gone by the next event.

Whats your name btw? Did I get to meet you at all that day? I get lost between screen names and real names and faces haha.

I had an awesome time. Thank you soo much Dave and Sammy for taking me and dom down there. Oh dave if you are up at the shop when I go pick up nicks car I have that money for you. And BIG congrates to all the tiger racing peeps for taking home the top 3! And all I have to say is Sammy is the man! I would be scared to tandem him. Good job guys! And for those I didnt introduce myself to I was the one over at the tiger racing trailer all day with a camara stuck to my hand. lol

yesterday was the first day in like 3 months sinced i havent thought about my work/buisness.
altho we were planning to go to the race to "work" it was alot more relaxing than anything else i had for the past 4 months.
we had to prepare the cars for race, like everyday for 6 weeks ( i stopped by after regular work and stayed up and back to work in the morning) and everything was good yesterday.
all three cars done, and all three cars won.
now we have to hit the drawing boards for the most important event for this year in NJ and in 2 days before we head out. wish us luck.

judging was a inconsistent yesterday as the crowd could have cleary seen and decided, but judging itself is not easy at all when the competition is tight. alot did well and should have been rewarded for it, but a decision has to be made and it was. thats how things work i guess. i thought the top three winnings were also all messd up or not in the right order but a win is a win i suppose. congrat to them.

the event was great. i had fun but then again i had problems through 2,3,4 rounds. but lucky i did well on my qualifying runs. too bad i didnt got a license nor a roll cage, then i would have enter the tandem also gabriel too.(guy in the stock ka coupe)<your awesome dude!!!

we got a bunch of footage and pics. I will not be able to work with the raw footage for a couple days cause i dont have the camara but dom is uploading pics now. Me and dom are going to try and combine the footage we got and make a nice vid.

I was there watching.. There was no people on the side I was on (the bleachers) you guys all did great except for the 5.0 hahaha. Idk if it was worth the drive all the way there just to watch, if still had my license I would attempt to drift my s14 with stock KA lol
