A friend of mine did it a lot cheaper though, something about amp wire...Not sure. I'll have to let him chime in.

I know ppl have done it them selves. I just don't know who XD.

all that kit is, is a really long wire and mounting stuff. Doesn't too hard to do it on you own, and save $50

That battery box they used would really make it easy.

Heres the box I used:

You can use something to fully enclose it if needed... I just drilled holes in the bottom of it and rivited it to the floor in the back passenger side.

Just go get some 4 or 2 gauge speaker wire from a sound shop. Make sure you have enough ground wire too. I fused the battery wire since it has to travel such a long way and if it gets grounded out bad things can happen...

just a thought too, it might be worth it to put a killswitch in-line since you are relocating it anyways. Will keep you from having to take the battery terminal off when working on stuff...

Yep. Thats what I did as well. It makes cutting power very handy. Its easiest to simply interrupt the ground wire...

i think my brother got a kit at autozone that was probably cheaper...

NHRA requires the kill switch to interrupt the power line... in case anyone cares. =D
