Aight. So I ordered some wheels for my s14:

17x8 +35 front
17x9 +35 rear

I need help on finding a tire size that will best suit my purpose. The main purpose of my car is for drag/straight line racing, but I do enjoy an occasional run in the 'twisties.'

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

The matching BBS wheels i had upfront were 16x8s, i dont remember what tire size they were but i dont think it would help u anyway since the sidewall size ratio would change from 16" to 17". i guess u could run a 235ish/40ish but thats just a random guess lol.

i'd say 255/40/17 rear and 235/45/17 front just from hearing the wheel sizes, but i don't know shit about 240's. (what they can fit without rubbing)

I like to slide so stretched is the name of the game.

I have 17x8 +35 17x9 +34 Volk AV's with 215/45/17 up front adn 225/45/17 in the rear

look for my picture in the welcome new members area

Sorta off topic, but I used to have a 205/45/16 on my rear z32tt wheels (8.5"). I'm all for the stretch look, but this looked STUPID! haha, the only reason I had those tires on them was because that's what came on them when I got the wheels. Even better, the fronts which are 7.5" had 225's on them. So I was running wider wheels in the rear but wider tires in the front... did I just blow your mind??
