KA starter for a sr20det conversion

Anyone done a KA starter starter internals with a sr starter externals? Or does anyone know where there is a write up on how to do it? I know that it is out there somewhere and I have searched Zilvia and Nicoclub but I couldn't find it, if I can save the $$$$$ on a KA starter I am definately interested in going that route. Since people says the internals of both are the same, I assume you just swap the KA ones into the SR ones then test if you success.
