I was thinking 225/40 or 215/45 for the 9.5s and possibly 235/40 for the 10.5..

Ideas?

I'm going to be fitting them on stock s13 body with a roll/pull, so it's going to have to have some stretch..

Sounds dope!

For looks?

Drift?

Grip?

235 all around would be cool.

Don't 18's work better with 235/35's on stock body?

I think.. everything but grip.
I didnt even know 235/35 existed. lol.

But ya.. I was thinking 225/40 for the front since Ive a pair of those and maybe 225/45 too? I've been checking up on the tiresize calculator, but I don't think i'm going to be able to get close to stock diameter/specs on 18s unless I go very low profile and width.

Hella stretch! LOL

I'm gonna put 215's on my 9" wheels and it will be quite a stretch.

Ya.. considering 235/40 should be nearly perfect on a 9, 215 will be a quite a stretch.
hm.. I wonder if they can get it on there without ripping up my bead.

A lot of people on ziptied ran 215/45's on 9's forever... Some even 215/40's.

I noticed lately a lot of them switched to 235/40's... I guess the 215's were getting sucky for the higher speed drifting.

Once I drop some dime on some real rims I wanna try 235's.

I'm running 235/45's on my rear and theyre 9". Its a little stretch.

I'm going to try to run 215/40's on my fronts which are also 9"'s and I believe that to be a pretty good stretch but should work great for fronts...

^ya.
I put 235/45 for the weapons too..
a little fat for my liking with a very very slight stretch.

But I believe which tire company you go with affects that as well..

I have the fuzion craptacular tires on it.

215 on a 9.5 is a lot of stretch. I know that Broadfield ran pretty wide tires on high offset wheels (and on his new wheels) on a stock s13 with no pull and little to no camber, and both sets of wheels were supa flush with the body. What offsets are your wheels?

Low offset.. yeah, Broadfield's car is clean..

Thats a big jump haha!

235/45 = Way Tall!

215/40 = rubber bands in comparison

I have 245/35/18 on my fronts. 10.5in. Not a rediculous stretch. You could fit 235's on them.

I believe Andy Sapp runs 215/45s on 9.5" wide rims if that gives you any idea what my Opinion will be.

mm..
So far.. I have these tires:

225/40/17 feddys ss595 x 2
225/45/17 ecsta 711 x 2
235/45/17 Fuzion HRi x 1 (stupid ass at walmart ripped the other bead..)
225/40/18 Fuzion ZRi x 1 (don't ask, lol)
235/40/18 Toyo Fz4 x 4 (99%, tomorrow)

I already have 235/45 on 2 17x9 MB weapons..
I'm thinking of putting 225/45 on the other two MB weapons and possibly using up the 225/40 Feddys on the 17x9.5 RPF1 and sticking the 235/40 on the 18x9.5 and 10.5.

I know I need lower profile for the 18s.. but I should use up the tires I already have...

Those sizes should make a good stretch with your sizes/offsets and fit nicely.

I ended up putting 225/40 on the 17x9.5 and 235/40 on 18x9.5
havent mounted tires on the 10.5

MIke, I got some 245 45 17's at home if you want some

Not very good tread but something you can burn up.

I hear ya. i personally like a little stretch and by no means is 215 on a 9.5 a big stretche, it could be way worse. but sacrificing bigger tires for cheaper prices FTW. but in all reality, when it needs a tire change ill prolly go 225's front, and 235s rear. but for driftin, 215 all round.

:) I may take you up on that..
I'm gonna go through the 235/45 I have on the MB, hopefully at this event.

But yeah.. tires can get expensive, but you don't want to skimp out when you're DDing on the wheels.
